These breads were from an Italian restaurant in Taipei Dazhi five star hotel. The food was nice, but I thought how they emphasized on bread is worth to mention. Most restaurants use breads which are made outside. Because restaurants do not focus on bread as many customers careless about it, I rarely find bread at a restaurant is as good as their dishes. Bread making is difficult and time consuming, so I guess most restaurants would not invest the time into it. Since these breads are from a restaurant at a five star hotel, I believe they would have a central kitchen preparing the breads. However, unlike the ordinary breads I see, the baker really puts effort on making these breads. I like this curly kind the best; it is very tasty and delicate. The topping liked like coconut, but it was actually potato! Bread is a good start for the meal, and I think bread is important to go along with dishes.
